Technology
The Main Power Pack unit can only be disarmed or unlocked via a user set combination lock.
The unit is locked and unlocked by the combination and does not
require any power to secure or release the unit.
The system
technology operates on a power resistance circuit passing through the
locking cables. The warning circuit, lighting and alarm system operates on
a standard 9-volt alkaline battery, which should operate in full alarm
mode for more than 12 months.
If a thief cuts the aircraft
steel cable or triggers one of the alarm accessories, the circuit is
broken and the Alarm
It
Power Pack instantly emits an ear piercing 120 decibel
screaming alarm and activates two
high
intensity lights flashers
which can be seen at night for up to half a mile.
To prevent a
thief cutting the aircraft steel cable, then rejoining the cable to stop
the alarm, a special anti-theft feature operates where the alarm will
continue to sound indefinitely until the unit is unlocked by the owner,
and the locking accessory adapter removed from the base unit.
Alarm It Cable Locks
are designed for outdoor use, and will not be adversely affected by cold or
hot temperatures, ultra violet radiation, rain, humidity and is water
resistant. The
